A Daily Reflection on the Scripture Readings at Mass…
“For the grace of God has appeared for the salvation of all men, training us to renounce irreligion and worldly passions, and to live sober, upright, and godly lives in this world, awaiting our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.” (Titus 2:11-14)
Grace, when we say yes to God, has the power to transform our lives.
Do you struggle in your relationships? Say yes to God!
Do you fail to be compassionate and welcoming to strangers? Say yes to God!
Do you suffer from an addiction—sex, drugs, alcohol, power, money? Say yes to God!
Are you angry, resentful, mean-spirited, negative? Say yes to God!
Are you ambivalent toward God and others, centered more on yourself? Say yes to God!
Say yes to God, ask him for pardon and peace. Ask God to heal and transform you. And if you need help to say yes, ask God for that grace too. Jesus is waiting for you to say yes.
