  1. Ans: The four major prophets of the Old Testament are Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel. They are called major because of their length. Each prophet’s prophetic book is contained on a single roll while all the minor prophets (subject of the next Catholic Quiz question) together fit on a single roll.
