Meet New Contributing Writer – Jef Murray

Jef Murray

Randy and I are excited to welcome Jef Murray aboard the growing family of writers for the Integrated Catholic Life.  In addition to being a talented and acclaimed artist, Jef is also a gifted writer. He is the husband of Lorraine Murray whose contributions to ICL have been enthusiastically received and shared by our readers. He will be contributing his thoughts and reflections on a regular basis to his blog, “Elfland”, at ICL as well as contributing other articles. Be sure to visit his website to view his artwork.

Welcome to ICL, Jef.

Jef Murray (www.JefMurray.com) is an internationally known Tolkien and fantasy artist/illustrator and counterfeit essayist. His paintings, sketches, and writings sprout sporadically from the leaves of Tolkien and Inklings publications (Amon Hen, Mallorn, Beyond Bree, Silver Leaves, Mythprints) and Catholic journals (The St. Austin Review, Gilbert Magazine, The Georgia Bulletin) worldwide.

Contrary to all sense and sensibility, his images most recently wended their way into The Magic Ring: Deluxe Illustrated Edition by Friedrich de la Motte Fouque and Black & White Ogre Country: The Lost Tales of Hilary Tolkien by Hilary A. R. Tolkien.
