Randy Hain's article regarding networking and the obvious social and personal value to be had through networking is excellent... adoption and use of even a few of his suggestions will bring people to a new level of interaction with others, to the obvious betterment of all. Nothing saddens me more than disconnected people who will go home, eat dinner, watch the news under the guise of "becoming informed", and then, as a diversion and amusement, watch a TV show on . . . "reality". . . How about some genuine reality?? Randy has certainly offered some ways to achieve it.

Matt,

Thanks for the kind words and I am glad it resonated with you. We can all do a lot to help each other and great causes through focused networking. Sharing our Catholic faith with others is a clear and obvious benefit of what I am advocating!

Thanks and God bless,

Randy

This article resonates on so many levels. I especially love the point you make about "paying it forward." Helping the people we know without asking for anything in return is a simple concept but so often people do so with hidden agendas. Simply ending a conversation with "is there anything I can provide that will help you?" and truly meaning it will be greatly appreciated by anyone/everyone we meet.

As Catholics, it speaks directly to preaching the good news without having to use words by having a great attitude and energy that will resonate with everyone we meet.

This is a great article, thank you for sharing it Randy!
