Sometimes, there is a better buy at the smaller store. We have a vacuum store in the small city of Bismarck, ND. It is also a sewing machine store. Those are the only two products. But because they are committed to excellent service and truly put the customer first, they have grown to do a bustling business. Word of mouth sells. And when you are treated well, you come back.

As an author, I have books with three different publishers. I think very highly of all three, of which Cheryl--a small publisher by comparison of the others--is one of them. I have come to know her as a friend and have been very pleased in our working relationship. Plain and simple, she gives conscientious service and aims to please--not just the author or the customer, but God. In my book, that counts for a lot. So it is well worth looking at what her company Bezalel Books sells, because she does not do business in a vacuum (oh dear, excuse the pun) but rather in a world of business but on her way to eternity. In the end, it's all about God for her--serving Him while serving others.
