Our doctors take an oath, and according to Wikipedia, the hippocratic oath, " is an oath historically taken by doctors swearing to practice medicine ethically." Futhermore, "The Hippocratic Oath (orkos) is one of the most widely known of Greek medical texts. It requires a new physician to swear upon a number of healing gods that he will uphold a number of professional ethical standards." If we look at the modern version of the vow, a portion of it reads, " Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given to me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God." The medical community, which is a money-making industry, in all facets not just abortion, has forgotten it's own promise of intent. Unfortunately, we have made gods out of doctors, and I am personally convinced Christ has lost many opportunities to heal the sick, because we subscribe to a counterfeit more often than not. It is also worth mentioning, the mental health industry, requires the use of birth control when prescribing many of its drugs to patients, because several of these 'medicines' have been deemed unsafe for the unborn fetus. Furthermore, in many instances of mental incapacitation, pregnant women are required to abort their unborn or risk losing their monthly stipend. The promotion of birth control, and the pressure to abort 'out of medical necessity', is an operative that has attached its evil tentacles to a variety of disciplines within the arena of medical practice. As a christian, if we criticize the methods of modern medician, we are labeled as extreme; and the common justification for all of the insane practices profiting the industry is, " Well, St. Luke was a doctor..." How does the fact that Luke was a physician, have anything to do with the reality of rampant abuse and diabolical greed determining the definition and consequent 'care' of any given disease. And how much disease is the result of SIN! On the subject of birth control and the agenda of Planned Parenthood, how is such effective if the frequency of procured abortion is so high? The birth control they push, promote and peddle, is not working because women are still getting abortions. At the foundation of Planned Parenthood's profit making, baby killing machine is the substance of human sin; for the sexual immorality and promiscuity of the masses is providing the clientele. It is easy to see the current of evil running throughout the abortion industry. Unfortunately, Planned Parenthood and all of its respective operatives, possesses a powerful and popular cohort in crime; the American Medical Association. We have turned modern medicine into a practice of idolatry, and then we wonder why our children are being sacrificed. The tide of change will arrive only when good people quit watching the evil manifest, doing nothing as a bystander but complaining, and start being part of the remedy to the problem. The Rod of Asclepius, a historically pagan symbol, represents the AMA. The crucifix, more than just a symbol, represents the leader of our mystical and militant association of the church, and brings forth the powers of Heaven. Let us begin to wear our baptismal badge with honor and justifiable pride; and not allow such abominations and evil to continue to proliferate, one prayer at a time, one person at a time.
